1. Valid photo ID for every signer — an unexpired driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID. 2. The complete, unsigned document. Do not sign ahead of time; the notary must witness the signature. 3. Any required witnesses. Some documents need one or two witnesses in addition to the notary.
